Fixx™ Microdermabrasion. I found myself running out of my favorite cleansing solution and the drug store item I purchased simply was not doing as good a job. Although I didn't use this as a replacement for my cleanser, it did come in handy for extra replenishing for my face. Having miraculous results after one weeks use, I decided to incorporate this product into my skin care regimen 2-3 times per week. My skin is noticeably more brighter any acne scaring/blemishes have begun to quickly faded. More info here.
Fixx™ Lash Extend This is a wonderful product that I've started using on my eyebrows and my eyelashes. Most people are looking for easy ways to remove facial hair not make it grow. For as long as I can remember, my eyebrows simply wouldn't grow. So, I have mastered filling them in to look as natural as possible. Everyone knows if you have jacked up eyebrows the entire look is off because the eyebrows frame the face. I'd like to have fuller eyebrows that are natural and don't require me to use a pencil or brow wax and powder on an average day. So far I have not been using this product consistently enough to see results, but I will take pictures and I am expecting this to be a great solution to my lack of hairy brows. More info here. Fixx™ Nip n' Tuck Okay, this may be too much information, but I have stretch marks around my buttocks, thighs and sides of my stomach, that I am not proud of. I'm not sure where they came from because I have never lost an excessive amount of weight or birthed a child. The lines and discoloration do make me uncomfortable. It is difficult to find the right swim suit because I always want to cover them up. This product provides so much more moisture to my skin and it may be a mental thing, but I think I can feel it working into my skin. I absolutely love the way this bottle top is made with bumps and ripples that massage the product into my skin, too. I'm enjoying using this product in my personal skincare regimen. More info here.
A fabulous opportunity has recently come my way that I'm excited to share with my readers. Through the help of my beauty business coach Ungenita Pevost, I have made strives in my business. I have utilized her resources and now built a relationship and connection with many other members in the Glam Squad, one of which I am honored to be working with in the near future, Natasha Caesar. After a phone interview with Natasha, creator of GlamPros (a search engine for beauty professionals) I am happy to announce that: I’m joining @GlamPros in July! Read about it here: http://ow.ly/bDley I decided a long time ago who I wanted to be and I have to recommit myself to that decision everyday. The person some men have shown me that they are is not what I believe their potential to be. I've had guys stand me up, not call, even avoid my calls and then "text" me back with a very weak apology. They then expect me to accept whatever excuse they have given. They want me to believe they are representing their best self. You may be used to the all to familiar, "I'm doing the best that I can" speech. I don't believe it! I understand circumstance, but I am no fool. I have high self esteem and I know my worth. I know those former suitors could have done better and more importantly, I know that I deserved better. If I believed that those men were operating at their best and accepted those excuses, they would be under the impression that I was clueless or had no evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that their story was not totally the truth... In their mind a few holes in the story aren't worth kicking him to the curb, right??? LOL. Their thought process is either A.) I will get an ugly attitude and cut him off or B.) let this one "slide" because I have no proof his whack excuse isn't true. He's already weighed both of those options... Neither of which I believe express the person I've decided to be. My beautiful self would respond in a way that would him speechless and feeling as though he truly misjudged my character. "I had a great time getting to know you and I enjoyed your company while it lasted. I am not mad; I understand that you misrepresented yourself, however I am simply interested in exploring my other options, just as you have decided to explore your own." He'd be confused as to why I didn't fall into the mold of other women... but that's just it - my inner beauty is uniquely my own. Expect that he'd rebuttal with the fact that I didn't have proof blah blah blah... Ah, but I do have proof! There is one fact that remains, how I felt as a direct connection and relationship to my expectations for him. Once that expectation was not met, it clearly is time to move on, so the excuses don't matter. In fact, the only thing that does matter, is my commitment to my decision to be beautiful in thoughts, words and deeds. For Your Health, Love and Beauty, - Amberly | |||||
